:: Stepped center medallion with arrowed finials atop a covered field in a partial Herati inspired design mapping with serpents and birds scattered throughout. Wrapped by a wide banded reciprocating germinating blossom main border. Colors and shades include: Dusty sapphire blue, powder blue, antique ivory, beige, sand, pale coffee brown, chocolate brown, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Hamadan rug made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 4'2" x 6'5".
